I wanted to make sure everyone knows that this is the last week of YC lessons. I will be here and available for the next two weeks (until Dec 19). If any of you want extra lessons during this time to help you get ready for the Christmas and Monster Concerts, I am more than willing to provide these for you. I'll just have you pay me directly. My Summer tuition rates will apply to these lessons (this can be found in the "about the studio" tab). I am also willing to give an extra lesson the week of Jan 5-8 for any who want them.
YC will start again Jan 12. Monster Concert will be less than a month away from that date so I recommend you take one or two extra lessons to give you a good start. You need to practice your Monster Concert duet over the Christmas break! If you do not you will be way behind, and may not get the opportunity to perform in the concert. These pieces do not have to be memorized. You only need to be able to play them fluently and up to tempo.
Don't forget about the Christmas Recital Dec 13, 6:30pm at St. Johns! Please come at least 5 minutes early so we can start on time.
